Job Description

  • Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information; prepares and reconciles bank statements.

  • Posts collections into accounting system; assist recovery team in preparation of statement of accounts and reconciling balances.

  • Sends statement of account to customers regularly; send invoices to wholesale customers.

  • Collects cash on behalf of COD customers and deposits into bank(s); prepares statement of account and ensure funds are disbursed as per statement of account to COD customers.

  • Processes monthly payroll, overtime and deductions from employees accounting entries.

  • Handles and maintains petty cash and relevant accounting entries.

  • Posts daily receipts, reports on Debtors and Creditors, and handles Accruals and Prepayments.

  • Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.

  • Verifies financial transactions by auditing documents; maintains financial security by following internal controls.

  • Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
